This Year's Model Updates:

The power rear hatch is now standard on all models, as is wood and leather trim for the shift knob and steering wheel. The power passenger seat is upgraded from four-way to eight-way while the optional navigation system gets Bluetooth capability and voice actuated control. Last year's standard six-disc CD changer moves to the options list, making way for a standard single-CD setup.

Pros:
  • Well-appointed interior, rides more like a sedan than an SUV, loaded with high-tech features, solid reputation for reliability, excellent dealer service.
Cons:
  • Less powerful than some of its competitors, soft ride makes for merely adequate handling in corners, no third-row seat option.

  • I love this vehicle! - 2005 Lexus RX 330

We started out with a 2004 base model RX 330 last year and upgraded this year to a 2005 with AWD, Nav. Sys, DVD player, Mark Levinson stereo, etc... We loved the first one and love this one even more. It handles well, feels safe (IS safe too for that matter), is very comfortable (with a lot of interior space) and has a lot of "bells and whistles" that equal a good value when you compare costs for the same bells and whistles on a BMW or Mercedes! I also LOVE the look of the RX 330 - very sophisticated and sporty. The service from Lexus has been impeccable. I cannot rave enough about this vehicle, and about Lexus in general! Im a fan for life!

  • better than before - 2005 Lexus RX 330

previously owned an RX 300. this is even better. better handling and comfort. fuel economy is very good for car this size.

  • Great car - 2005 Lexus RX 330

I have loved this car from the start, it drives great and is a really reliable car. It has never been in the repair shop. The only problem is the hesitation i guess only in AWD models; somethings is weird with the transmission.

  • Great, tranny leaves much too be desired - 2005 Lexus RX 330

The car is wonderful in every aspect, however, we had to trade-in our 04 rx330 b/c of MANY problems. Transmission seems to be the MAIN weakness because of the "un-sure" gear position. The car doesnt seem to know what gear to be in to provide maximum response.

  • Second Lexus - 2005 Lexus RX 330

This is by second RX, I previously had a 2000. The 2005 model had greatly improved acceleration performance and turning radius. I love this car!

  • Great luxury SUV - 2005 Lexus RX 330

This vehicle has everything I wanted inside of a SUV. It rides smooth. The accessories are easy to reach. And the nav does everything the drives tells it to do. Great SUV would not trade it for any other SUV.

  • Sold on the Test Drive - 2005 Lexus RX 330

It has a quiet, smooth as silk ride and handles well, taking turns much better than my 2000 Chrysler Concorde LXi. I only have 3 complaints, although they are minor. The rear passengers complain that they have no room for their feet, as the front seats are low to the floor. Second, why cant the Japanese make seats comparable to those in American cars? My Chrysler seats were much better padded and roomier. 3rd, Toyota Sienna is much better appointed with tiny things that make a difference, like a little hook you can flip out to hold a garbage bag. The Lexus doesnt even have a compartment for sunglasses, which even my husbands Sentra has. For $38,000+ I expect more details.

  • Wow! - 2005 Lexus RX 330

*** Price *** Amazing value for money. *** Ride *** Havent experienced a smoother ride in an SUV so far. The road noise is almost non-existent. *** Performance *** Somewhat lacking in performance as compared to the MDX, but the styling and all the rest of the features make it a much better buy. *** Dealer *** The dealer was very courteous and helpful in our buying process. *** Finally *** Our 1st Lexus and dont think this will be the last.

  • Flint Mica RX 330 - 2005 Lexus RX 330

The vehicle is extremely reliable - no problems. Just follow the scheduled maintenance. Maintenance is pricey at 30K, 60K, but still less than Mercedes or Volvo. We really enjoy the vehicle. We will buy another Lexus.
